How to Find Appropriate Course Materials Using RCLweb
The books and electronic resources included in RCL have been identified by subject experts (faculty and librarians) as those most crucial to teaching a given subject at the undergraduate level. Titles have been selected for a wide range of students, from freshman to advanced undergraduates; they balance standard works, landmarks of scholarship, and long-established classics with contemporary works reflecting current scholarly interests and the most recent developments in changing academic disciplines. Where available, individual records contain the full text of Choice reviews, written by faculty teaching in the subject area. The titles in RCL are arranged in subject-specific classification schemes which correspond closely to the undergraduate curriculum. New interdisciplinary subject areas provide additional coverage in fields often taught at the undergraduate level.
