Unlike its predecessor (Books for College Libraries), Resources for College Libraries is now available online through RCLweb at www.RCLweb.net.

The online edition will be updated quarterly to automatically provide you with the latest recommended titles mapped to 58 curriculum-specific subject areas. RCLweb features numerous workflow tools and functionality not found in the print product.

Usage options are available for students, faculty, and library staff, making RCLweb the ultimate resource to find research materials, enhance course curriculum, and aid in collection development.

Subscribing to RCLweb will give you the ability to search by a variety of criteria including: RCL subject, LC Classification Range, Dewey # Range, Audience, Format, Awards, and date added to the database. After locating titles of interest, you can save them to a list for later use; or print, e-mail, and download the list to share with students or colleagues. The online version contains full-text reviews from Choice and can be linked to your library’s OPAC to instantly identify whether or not your library holds the RCL title.
