The quick search is a located throughout the site to make it an easy  transition between searches.  The first quick search is located on the home page.  

You will also find the quick search in the header of every page of RCLweb.  The only page where the quick search does not appear is the Advanced search page.  

There are four sections to the Quick Search:

• Search On Drop-down

• Search Box

• RCL Subject Drop-downs, and

• RCL Format Drop-down.

Search on drop-down - The following values may be selected:

• keyword

• keyword-in-title

• author

• ISBN, or

• exact title

Enter your search term in the text box.

You also further limit the Quick Search by RCL subject area  (for instance, Anthropology) and also, if you wish, a subsection of the selected subject area (for instance, the Archeology subsection of the Anthropology section).  Please note that you must make your selection of an area first, as your choice will change the subsections from which you may chose.  

You may also limit your results by RCL Format:

• All

• Books

• Internet Resources

• CD-ROM / DVD-ROM

• E-book

• Other

Click the Search Now button and you will be taken to the search results pages displaying the results of your search.
